Considering the alarming situation in the Renk County, Medair sought to undertake a Link NCA study to help partners develop a comprehensive operational plan aiming to improve the nutritional status of the children in the area. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and other factors, all components of the Link NCA study could not be completed and the study was therefore reclassified as a qualitative assessment of risk factors of undernutrition, primarily based on community perceptions of undernutrition collected during the qualitative inquiry.

Unfortunately, we have not been able to secure an authorisation of the Government of South Sudan to publish the findings.
