Urban under-nutrition and slums : a hidden issue in Kenya

Interview Claudio Torres, UN-Habitat, Participatory Slum Upgrading Unit, Nairobi, Kenya.

The aggregation of big-data at one city level often hides the reality of undernutrition in the slums.

According to WHO; life expectancy is 10 or 15 years less in the slums compared to that of wealthier inhabitants from the same city. This chronic situation must be addressed.

Video shot during the Learning Event organized by the Link NCA Unit, 28 February 2017, Fairview Hotel, Nairobi, Kenya.
